The exhibition brings together two works: the video Everybody talks about the weather and the installation Untitled #44. The two works were conceived while on the Feral Residency in Mexico and have been commissioned for DKUK.

Everybody talks about the weather tells the story of a young international terrorist who has broken into a modernist villa that she intends to blow up. The video was shot in Casa Barragan, the house and studio of Mexican modernist architect Luis Barragan. Untitled#44 consists of three bands of latex ‘wrapping’ the exhibition space; two of which will be respectively pink and orange, reflecting on the vivid colours of Casa Barragan where the work was initially created. The third latex band takes the colour of the gallery walls, emphasising the symbolic shift from one architecture to another.
