DKUK x Daata Editions
We’re super happy to be working in collaboration with Daata Editions to commission affordable digital editions with each of our shows in the salon. We want to extend the legacy of each commission into a multi-strand exhibition exploring how we can share a body of work across different platforms with exciting collaborators who are innovators within the arts and continue to support artists practice.
Daata Editions commissions artist video, sound, poetry and web. This new way to collect art is designed specifically to be a native platform to a new generation of artists who work with moving image and sound. Limited edition artworks can be viewed and acquired as digital downloads.
Our first commission on Daata is with Gery Georgieva who has produced a photo edition which functions as a screensaver. For this edition the digital image will, with each download, create its own context as its functionality and accessibility continues to transform.
