To get the most from your curly hair appointment, please wash and detangle your hair 1–2 days before your visit. We ask you avoid straightening, heat-tools, braids or tight buns so your natural curl pattern is visible. If the hair isn’t prepared we may need to reschedule.
Our Cutting Technique
We do not offer a curl-by-curl cut. Instead, we’ve perfected a specialist wet-to-dry method over the past ten years. This technique begins with a wet cut to shape your curls. Damp hair is in its stretchy, beta-keratin state, allowing us to understand how your curls move, where they spring from the roots, and how your natural growth patterns fall. Then, once dry, we refine the shape with precise texturising only where needed.
This method protects your hair, ensures consistent results, and allows us to replicate the same sectioning pattern at every visit. You’ll leave with healthy, bouncy curls that look beautiful and behave predictably, appointment after appointment.

Vera seemed to grasp exactly what I wanted and the head massage was a pure delight.
It’s a different experience looking at artwork rather than mirrors, although the mirror is wheeled out for the initial consultation and again for the big reveal at the end. If I was going to be picky, from a personal point of view, I quite like to see how the stylist is drying and generally finishing my hair so that I have more of an idea how to replicate the look at home.
