Visiting DKUK for the first time and it was a joy from the moment I walked in to when I walked out feeling fabulous.
Vera seemed to grasp exactly what I wanted and the head massage was a pure delight.
It’s a different experience looking at artwork rather than mirrors, although the mirror is wheeled out for the initial consultation and again for the big reveal at the end. If I was going to be picky, from a personal point of view, I quite like to see how the stylist is drying and generally finishing my hair so that I have more of an idea how to replicate the look at home.
However, I’ve had so many compliments, I will definitely be back, thanks Vera!

I\'ve been coming here for years. Great atmosphere, very kind and flexible - even honoured a voucher when I failed to realise it had an expiration date which is above and beyond as it was totally my fault. Really inclusive. Definitely recommend - particularly if you find getting your haircut a difficult experience.

I hadn\'t visited a salon for colouring for 10+ years, and hadn\'t had a cut in the last 7, as I\'d get very anxious about the whole process and never felt satisfied with the results. I booked in for a consultation at DKUK and met Jodie, who listened to my hair goals and challenges and discussed my options with honesty and no pressure, which really helped me feel at ease.
She has not only absolutely nailed the colour and vibe I was after, and brought my long, neglected hair back to life, but has gained my trust and turned something that was previously stressful into an enjoyable experience - thank you so much! x

All round great experience from the moment I entered the salon. Tyler really took the time to cut and style my hair. I never usually like my haircut straight out of the salon but Tyler listened to my preferences and it came out looking how I wanted it!

In LOVE with DKUK. I wish I had found them sooner, my curly hair has never (ever!) looked so good. Each time I'm blown away at how Edi so skilfully transforms my hair and lifts my spirits. Cannot recommend enough, which to be fair I recommend them now to everyone. Go. X

My daughter introduced me to DKUK several years ago and I have remained with them ever since. I love the art, I love not having to sit in front of the mirror and most of all I love the haircuts. I am so happy with my latest style, it works so well with my hair and its colouring and just feels really “me”. I have had lots of compliments on it too which is nice.

I have been going to Idi at DKUK for about 4 years now and cannot recommend it highly enough. Not only is the service and hair-cutting top notch (lovely staff, free drinks, amazing hair products), the art is great, and changes regularly so I’ve never seen the same exhibit twice. I have never been loyal to a hairdresser before now!

Just had my first haircut at this salon on Friday - I highly recommend trying this hairdressers - I am very happy with my new cut, feels light and soft (nice products) and the environment is light & bright too, much nicer than other hairdressers I've tried. Friendly team, funky environment, a drinks menu which includes wine and you're sat in front of art instead of a mirror - what's not to like! Really worth checking this place out in my opinion, definitely the way forward. Many thanks.

I regularly get my hair cut by Idi, she always does an amazing job. I love how open she is to doing bizarre cuts.

I had an absolutely incredible time with this salon today. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to getting haircuts due to sensory issues and general social nerves. That coupled with poor health over the past few months had left my hair in a complete state as I've been unable to get it cut for over 6 months. The whole team were free from judgement, took my awkwardness and anxiety in their stride and made me as comfortable as possible. Daniel gave me an amazing haircut following a detailed consultation and great advice on how to keepy hair healthy and looking good. Definitely returning for both Daniel and hopefully the other stylists too at some point.

This is the first time I’ve used salon and Lydia was fantastic and knew just what I needed. Was having a very bad day and the salon was a much needed calming space with gentle kind staff that offered me a much needed drink.. taking the fact I had to rush out of salon hair in foil’s to attend a DIY tiling disaster… my hair colour as fab and one of the few things that went well.
