With more than two years of experience, she has already developed a thoughtful and considered approach to her craft. What she loves most about hairdressing is that no two people are the same. Everyone has a different life, a different routine and a different relationship with their hair, and she enjoys learning about all of it. For her, the job is as much about curiosity and connection as it is about technique.

Alongside her passion for personalised cutting, Vera-Lynn has a natural talent for working with curls. She understands that curly hair has its own unique rhythm, texture and needs, and she is quickly becoming known as one of DKUK’s go-to stylists for curly cuts. She takes time to study each curl pattern, considers how her clients wear their hair day-to-day, and shapes styles that feel effortless, balanced and true to the person.

Vera-Lynn takes pride in creating cuts that genuinely suit the person in her chair. She listens carefully, pays close attention to detail and aims to shape a style that reflects their needs and sense of self. What do you love about your job? Finding the calm in cutting and helping my clients to look and feel their best

What are you most excited about with working at DKUK? One of my favourite things about DKUK is that the art changes every three months. The shifting space keeps me inspired and makes the studio feel alive and ever evolving.

Tell us something about yourself that might surprise others? I make a great cup of tea! Gotta leave the tea bag in with the milk!!
